LazyTruth debunks chain letter myths

Never again will an African prince ask for your money with this new Google Chrome plugin.

LazyTruth for Gmail and Google Chrome lets users check the ridiculous facts that are often present in chain letters, then automatically email the sender, telling them that the information in their email is fake or inaccurate.

While there are tons of fact checking websites out there, LazyTruth is useful because you don’t really have to do anything. All the user needs to do is click the extension and the app figures everything out for you.

This probably won’t make your friends and family stop sending you pictures of cute kittens though. Also, while this app sounds cool, I can’t help but wonder how well it actually works.
