You’ve got to start somewhere…


I thought I was going to start this blog by documenting the build of my first PC from scratch.  I was excited about having a fun side project and writing about my experience.  I spent a lot of time in the planning stages, researching the combination of parts I wanted which, to me, didn’t really count as part of the project itself.  When I finally ordered everything and the hardware came in, I pulled out my camera intent on documenting the first steps.  I took my time photographing each component, each step, each detail— and was finished with the entire build in an hour and a half!  I then held my breath when I first plugged it in, fully expecting to have issues, and it immediately booted to a live CD.  Project (mostly) complete!
